Stock statuses

To respond as quickly as possible to our customers' requests, we store a large quantity of items in our own facilities. However, it regularly happens that certain references are sold out or that they are only available on order, or even completely out of stock with our suppliers.


In order to indicate an approximate restocking time, some codes are indicated on the detailed sheet of each of our articles, just below the "Add to basket" button.


The times announced are for information only and do not imply any firm commitment on the part of Hobbyreptiles.com!


List of codes used for animals:


To keep operating costs as low as possible and thus provide our customers with attractive prices, we only keep very few animals on our own operating sites. In addition, due to the very large number of species offered for sale at Hobbyreptiles.com, it is difficult to have enough space and skilled labor to maintain and maintain such a large number of animals with dignity. For these reasons, most of the specimens we sell are kept either with the breeder or with the supplier until the day before they are taken over by the specialized transporter who will deliver our customers.

A live animal is sent in less than 24 hours, but to this time must be added the time necessary to find/repatriate the animal from the supplier/breeder to our own facilities (1 to 15 working days on average, the Saturdays and Sundays are not working) and then wait for the next "legal" delivery day to arrive (Tuesday to Thursday).



ANNOUNCED STOCK AT SUPPLIER (TO BE CONFIRMED): The latest listings received from our suppliers indicate that these animals are available and that we can order them. An animal ordered before a Saturday is generally shipped to our customers in the middle of the following week.

SUPPLIER STOCK TO CONSULT ( WRITE TO INFO@HOBBYREPTILES.COM ): The last listings received from our suppliers did not indicate that this species was in stock. By writing to us at the email address indicated, we can directly question our many suppliers to try to quickly find you the animal you are looking for. The time required for these searches is 1 to 14 days.

OUT OF STOCK: None of our suppliers have indicated availability for this species for over a month. The replenishment time is very variable, from one week to several months.

On order before Sunday 10:00 a.m. for delivery the following Thursday: Concerns only orders of live insects which are used to feed other animals. Deadline explicitly stated in the statement, subject to stock at our suppliers.

On order from our supplier: Delay of 1 to 14 days before restocking by our suppliers (unless additional information from our suppliers indicating a break during this period of 1 to 14 days!)


Only on order: Variable delay. We must contact our suppliers to know the availability of this reference. The reference may not be available!


Out of stock: No restocking period is indicated from our suppliers. Stock shortages can last from 1 to several weeks!
